Strategic intelligence and AI transformation, from competitive research and due diligence to private AI systems that clients control.
A little background.
I studied philosophy and sociology before moving into software, product development, and company building.
Over roughly two decades, I’ve founded four companies and held leadership roles in product and engineering, including Head of Product, CTO, and VP of Engineering. I’ve shaped product strategy, led teams through development and delivery, and contributed to more than $40 million in major technology initiatives.
My interests extend into political economy, culture, and the ways people exercise power over their own circumstances. I’m particularly interested in independent technology, human ownership of intelligence, and how new systems of coordination might change what individuals and communities can accomplish.
Philosophy still has a practical place in my life. It shapes what I question, what I choose to build, and which assumptions I’m willing to challenge.
Projects.
An open-source development system for AI agents that brings engineering standards, design methods, shared context, and independent verification into one repository.
A research-stage optimization layer exploring lower AI operating costs through efficient context, caching, and model routing.
A working experimental demonstration of merchant-controlled bank payment requests, reconciliation, and audit trails. All transactions are synthetic.
A documented, fifteen-step venture-development framework that carries decisions, research, and deliverables across the path from idea to MVP.
Journal.
Essays, short notes, conversations, images, and ideas in progress. Published here, with selected pieces carried into other places.
The archive is being assembled. Published material will appear here in date order, with links to original sources where applicable.
Resources.
Mental models, frameworks, and open-source tools made to be revisited, tested, and used.
